Saona Island is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the Dominican Republic—and for good reason. Long, white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and countless palm trees create the quintessential Caribbean setting that many visitors associate with the Dominican Republic.

The island is part of Cotubanamá National Park and remains largely untouched by human development. During a day trip, you can relax on idyllic beaches, swim in crystal-clear waters, or observe the underwater world during a stop to swim at a natural sandbar.

A speedboat or catamaran ride along the coast is particularly impressive. With a little luck, you might spot sea turtles or other marine life along the way.

8:00 AM – Hotel Pick-up

Private transportation takes you from your hotel to Bayahibe.

9:30 AM – Private Speedboat

Meet your private boat and crew and begin your journey towards Saona.

Mano Juan

Honestly, Alex made our first trip to the Dominican Republic an unforgettable one!
Yes, at first we tought that a private guide was expensive we are not going to lie about that. But having experienced a tour with a touroperator we saw the benefits of having a private guide.

And Alex is even next level, with all his experience and knowledge of the Dominican Republic he knows and shows all the places where nobody else takes you! You will experience the real DR life.

A warm personality, friendly and with a great sense of humor. There is not much that you can wish for in our opinion.
